The year 2013 is extremely important for lovers of opera. It is the 200th anniversary of the birth of great Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi. Members of Edmonton's Italian community did not want to see this anniversary pass by without celebrating his life and music. Help us to celebrate this important musical anniversary and Italian culture! Plan to take in the range of events.
Make a charitable donation to support these events and to kick-off fundraising for an important legacy project - the commissioning of a life-size statue of Verdi to be erected in a prime location in the heart of Edmonton.
